Stock Assistant

Stock Assistant


We're looking for a dependable and organized Stock Assistant to join our client's boutique team. In this role, you'll support the smooth day-to-day flow of stock, making sure products are received, stored, and tracked properly so the rest of the team can focus on delivering a great experience to our customers.


What You’ll Do

  • Receive and unpack incoming deliveries, making sure everything is in order

  • Check that product prices and quantities match the packing list, and update any price differences

  • Add security tags to new items and make sure all products are clearly labeled with price tags

  • Set aside items requested by the sales team for clients

  • Keep the stockroom neat and well-organized to make the most of the space

  • Follow all stockroom security procedures to keep items safe at all times

  • Make sure the shop floor stays stocked by restocking from the warehouse when needed

  • Carry out regular inventory checks and report any stock issues or differences


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a retail stockroom or similar role is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and a good sense of organization

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  • Good time management and able to handle several tasks at once

  • Willingness to learn and help wherever needed

  • Basic knowledge of stock systems is helpful but not required
